House Testimony
October 6, 2009
When I took on the role of director, one of the remarks I made to the search committee was that I imagined that the spectrum of interactions with politicians would be an area in which I would be challenged. Gobbledegook!? Acronymia? Certainly different from the usual PREx, or QWeak, or DVCS that we hear from the physics side of the house!

Hot Summer
July 27, 2010
One might think that we should be into the lazy, hazy days of summer. In contrast, since the beginning of June we have experienced a heat wave, and I am not referring to the “typical” Virginia summer with 100 degrees Fahrenheit registering on the thermometer.
