  • JLab Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Council

    The D&I Council is chartered and its members appointed, by the Director of the Laboratory. It is the primary body responsible for advising the Director and senior leadership on subjects related to Diversity and Inclusion.

    The D&I Council's purview includes all activities in support of the following Lab goals:

  • Elementary and middle school science teachers are invited to register for the annual Virginia Region II Teacher Night at Jefferson Lab.

    NEWPORT NEWS, VA -- The U.S. Department of Energy’s Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility is offering elementary and middle school teachers the opportunity to pick up a wealth of new tools for teaching physical science concepts. The annual Virginia Region II Teacher Night will be held on April 10, and the free event will feature hands-on instructional activities for the physical sciences.

  • Rachel Carson Middle School of Herndon placed first among 19 teams who competed at the 2019 Virginia Regional Science Bowl Competition at Jefferson Lab on Saturday, March 2.

He’s conversant in ten different computer programming languages: C, C++, Python, Bash, Shell, HTML, JavaScript, PHP, CSS, MySQL.
