Logue started her career in 1983 as a health physicist at the DOE's New Brunswick Laboratory. She then relocated to the DOE's Chicago office, where from 1986-1991 she held a variety of positions, including health physicist and senior program manager with oversight for ES&H, construction and nuclear programs at Argonne National Laboratory. From 1992-1997, Mary was a section head for safety engineering at Argonne.
Logue has a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Notre Dame and a master's degree in health physics from Northwestern University.
