The Third MODE Workshop on Differentiable Programming for Experiment Design will take place at Princeton University on July 24–26. Forms for registration and abstract submission as well as practical information (fee, travel, accommodations) about the workshop can be found on the workshop website: https://indico.cern.ch/event/1242538/

MODE (for Machine-learning Optimized Design of Experiments) is a collaboration of physicists and computer scientists who target the use of differentiable programming in design optimization of detectors for particle physics applications, extending from fundamental research at accelerators, in space, and in nuclear physics and neutrino facilities, to industrial applications employing the technology of radiation detection.

The 2023 workshop at Princeton University follows earlier workshops in Crete in 2022 (https://indico.cern.ch/event/1145124/) and in Louvain-La-Neuve in 2021 (https://indico.cern.ch/event/1022938/).
