Scope and Content

Prior to digital record keeping and electronic logbooks, notes and information on experiments within Experimental Halls were manually written in logbooks.

The dates and notes listed for each book is what is listed in what was recognized as a make-shift table of contents in the logbook. There were a few logbooks that lacked this information.

(More information regarding Experimental Hall C and its mission is pending)

Collection Information

There are four series within this collection; they were retained together as the collection was accessioned:

Series I: Logbooks. This is series makes up the more than 26 logbooks that Hall C used during their experimental runs prior to the change to digital record keeping.

Series II: Experimental Information. Information on individual experiments is located within this series.

Series III: Experimental Software. This series is testing of experimental software and results.

Series IV: Target Shift. Check list information from Target Shift.
