Welcome to the Software and Computer Workshop 2023 for the Jefferson Lab community organized in collaboration between the HEP Software Foundation, the Experimental Physics Software and Computing Infrastructure Group and the Jefferson Lab Users Organization.
This event will be held from May the 15th to 19th. Monday to Wednesday will focus on "C++ essentials" and Thursday to Friday will be focused on software and computing essentials for JLab's Experimental Halls and the EIC. The workshop will have dedicated sessions for hands-on training following the lectures.

The positron working group will have its first post-pandemic in-person positron meeting March 7th and 8th, 2023 at the University of Virginia in the lower west oval of the historic Rotunda building.
Meeting will focus on developments in the plans for the positron injector at Jefferson Lab and presentation of the physics that can be done with positron beams. A focus will be put on experiments that are planning to present at an upcoming PAC.

The e-HUGS 2021 will host a seminar session that will take place the last two afternoon of the school and a poster session on the afternoon before. All the students are invited to give a seminar or a poster - preferably in the format which they are less familiar with. The participation is strongly encouraged: consider this as an occasion to practice some of the soft-skills that are required in our job in a familiar and safe environment.
