One group leader will be present the entire two weeks; reviewers for specific areas will b present for either the first or second week. Specific areas to be covered are as follows, with the number of reviewers in parentheses after each topic.

  • Zhite Yu’s Ph.D. work has earned him the 2024 J.J. and Noriko Sakurai Dissertation Award 

    NEWPORT NEWS -- When Zhite Yu began writing his doctoral thesis in January 2023, he had a nagging feeling he wasn’t properly explaining his work. He kept polishing it until August. The day after he turned it in, he got married.
