    Project Progress Summary

    Injector & Front-End Test

    -Injector tests during the past week have been fairly successful. We have delivered good beam to WBS 3 for their evaluation of the RF control system, and to WBS 5 for tests of the beam position monitors. Improvements to the control software have brought us to the point where setting up a good 5-MeV beam is (almost) routine. (C. Sinclair)

  • Middle and high school students are recognized during virtual awards ceremony

    NEWPORT NEWS, VA – The U.S. Department of Energy's Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility, Michigan State University (MSU) and the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB) honored the winners of the 2023 “Distinguished Trailblazers in the Sciences” competition during a virtual ceremony on Jan. 22, 2024.

  • Positions in the Jefferson Lab Theory Center involve research in theoretical hadronic and nuclear physics that motivates and supports Jefferson Lab experiments at 12 GeV and beyond.

    Congratulations to Arkaitz Rodas, who was recently appointed as the new JSA/JLab Nathan Isgur Fellow in Nuclear Theory.
