  • Farewell to CFO

    Mary Erwin, our Chief Financial Officer has been offered a position at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory and will be leaving Jefferson Lab on March 9. This is a keenly felt loss for the Laboratory, but a wonderful growth opportunity for Mary and I ask all of you to join me in wishing her well.

    Please join me on Thursday, March 8 for a Farewell Reception for Mary, 1:30-3:00 p.m. in the CEBAF Center lobby.

  • Memorial services set for U.S. Representative Jo Ann Davis

    Rep. Jo Ann Davis, Virginia's 1st District, died at her Gloucester home
    Saturday after a two-year battle with breast cancer. She was 57. A
    memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, at the
    World Outreach Worship Center in Newport News. A funeral has been set for
    1 p.m. Thursday at the Lighthouse Worship Center in Hayes.

  • JLab Voicemail Transition - Today

    October 25, 2007

    Jefferson Lab will transition to the new Intuity voicemail system today (Oct. 25, 2007) at 5:00 PM. Because of the large volume of voicemail accounts that are being migrated, each voice mailbox will be configured with a default password (23606) that you will be required to change the first time that you connect to your mailbox. If the default password does not allow you access to your voice mailbox, contact the helpdesk at extension 7155 for additional
    assistance.

  • JLab-wide Phone Outage: Saturday, Sept. 21

    Jefferson Lab’s landline telephone system will be down Saturday, Sept. 21, from 8 a.m.- 12 p.m. noon. The outage will permit equipment upgrades.

    Across Jefferson Lab, the outage will disrupt:
    • Landline telephone services
    • Voicemail
    • Fax machines

    This outage will affect JLab and university phones in the ARC, but not the commercial tenants in the ARC.

  • Lab Sets Oct. 16 Dedication Date for Technology & Engineering Development Facility

    Jefferson Lab has issued a date for the dedication ceremony of the new Technology & Engineering Development Facility (TEDF).

  • Restricted Parking Around Buildings 55, 58, 59 & 90 Beginning Monday, Oct. 8

    The re-roofing of the Test Lab, Building 58, is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 8, 2012. Part of the project will involve spraying a foam and silicon coating material on the roof.
