Simulations and Validation of Dose Distribution in Polymers
PUFFIn (Penelope User Friendly Fast Interface) is a Monte Carlo radiation transport program to simulate and map electron and photon dose in materials. This interface can create 2D and 3D maps which will help visual dose distribution in various materials, including medical products, polymers, etc. This tool is free and only requires a regular PC or laptop.
The two-day workshop will be conducted on March 16-17 at the Sheraton Waterside Hotel in Norfolk, VA and will be limited to 10-15 participants. Travel grants are available to cover registration, lodging and meals. The workshop participants are expected to stay for the AccelApp conference after the workshop.
