AccelApp'24 has numerous opportunities for college and post-doc students to take advantage of. Read below for details on the JSA student travel grants. Please pay attention to the deadline dates and application process.
Jefferson Science Associates is pleased to announce student travel grants to attend AccelApp'24. Fixed awards of 1250 $US may be used to cover the conference registration fee, hotel, and local expenses. It is expected that the home institution of the student will pay for travel to/from the conference. To apply click here. Students are required to (1) Submit an abstract to the conference, (2) Attend the student poster session on Tuesday, March 19th, and (3) assist in conference organization. Students should submit a brief career statement supporting the travel request in their application and arrange for one letter of reference to be sent to the conference email site of Accelapp2024conference@jlab.org. Grants will be awarded based on the quality of the full application. Students selected for PUFFIn travel grants will not be considered for JSA travel awards, but student applications to both grant programs are allowed. Applications should be submitted by February 12, 2024.
