Scope and Content
The physical collection contains original press releases; the digital collection houses copies of the releases, as well as press releases that were digitized that were not original. This collection is incomplete and regularly updated.
Arrangement
This collection is arranged by whether the press release was external or internal, then in chronological order. Both the physical and digital collections are arranged in this manner.
Series I: Lab-generated Releases. The press releases in this series originate at CEBAF/Jefferson Lab. The Office of Communications also maintains a digital archive of release after 2008 at: https://www.jlab.org/news/releases/archive.
Series II: External Releases. The releases in this series are from various institutions such as the Department of Energy, various universities, and other National Labs, as their activity pertains to Jefferson Lab.
