  • JLab Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA) Council

    The DEIA Council is chartered, and its members appointed, by the Director of the Laboratory. It is the primary body responsible for advising the Director and senior leadership on subjects related to Diversity and Inclusion.

    To address these goals, the Council will seek ways to maximize the creativity, communication, & collaboration among diverse Lab contributors; with particular attention to recruiting, retaining, and developing STEM women and minorities throughout the Laboratory.

  • The Center for Theoretical and Computational Physics pursues a broad program of theoretical research in all areas of quantum chromodynamics (QCD) and hadron physics, promoting and supporting the physics studied at Jefferson Lab and related facilities around the world.

  • Position Descriptions are one of the key documents used in Human Resources to classify jobs, clarify expectations and requirements, as well as communicate responsibilities and duties of a job. 

    Current Position Descriptions are required to be updated when a position is being filled, a job posting is developed, and for promotions.  Position Descriptions should also be updated when there is a considerable change in scope or responsibilities.
