The Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility, or CEBAF, is a scientific user facility that is open for research to scientists and students worldwide. We welcome researchers in nuclear physics, accelerator science and related fields to join us in our mission to explore the building blocks of matter and discover technologies that enable our research.
Jefferson Laboratory benefits from organizing and centralizing sufficient superconducting, resistive, and permanent magnet expertise. The groups missions are to support operation of existing and to design future magnets in support of the laboratories main mission, Experimental Nuclear Physics. The Magnet Group is a Technical Support Group within the Experimental Nuclear Physics Division.
